Privacy Policy

This website is operated by Lev Kashkin, an independent video producer, photographer and web developer based in Thessaloniki, Greece (“I”, “me”). This policy explains what personal data this site collects, why, and what rights you have. It is written to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. What I collect
- Contact form data — your name, email address, and the message you write. Optional: phone number, budget range, project type.
- Email — if you write to contact@levkashkin.eu, I keep that correspondence.
- Technical data — the hosting provider logs standard request data (IP address, browser, page requested, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention.
I do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, cross-site profiling, or analytics that identify you personally.
2. Why I process it (legal basis)
- To answer your enquiry and prepare a quote — legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
- To keep records of work delivered and invoices — legal basis: legal obligation, Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (Greek tax law).
- To keep the site secure and working — legal basis: legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
3. Who else sees it
- FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) — relays the contact form to my inbox. It processes the form fields transiently and does not use them for its own purposes.
- Hosting provider — serves the site and keeps access logs.
- Email provider — stores the mailbox at contact@levkashkin.eu.
I do not sell, rent or trade your data. I do not share it with advertisers.
4. International transfers
Some service providers are based outside the EU/EEA (for example in the United States). Where that happens, transfers rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision. If you need details for a specific processor, ask me and I will provide them.
5. How long I keep it
- Enquiries that do not become projects — up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Client and project records — as long as Greek tax and accounting law requires (typically 5–10 years after the financial year).
- Server logs — up to 90 days.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask me to:
- confirm whether I hold data about you and give you a copy (access);
- correct data that is wrong (rectification);
- delete data I no longer need (erasure);
- restrict or object to processing (restriction / objection);
- hand your data to you or another provider in a machine-readable format (portability);
- withdraw any consent you gave, at any time, without affecting past processing.

7. Complaints
If you think I handled your data badly, you can complain to the Greek data protection authority: Hellenic Data Protection Authority (Αρχή Προστασίας Δεδομένων Προσωπικού Χαρακτήρα), Kifisias 1–3, 115 23 Athens, Greece — dpa.gr. You may also complain to the authority in your own EU country.
8. Cookies
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. If a strictly necessary cookie is ever needed for the contact form to work, it will be listed here before it is used.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, the “last updated” date above changes with it. Material changes affecting existing clients will be communicated by email.
